Kicking off with a highly energetic presentation from Bradley G Munkowitz, the event started with a bang & never let up. All of the speakers provided an inspiring insight into their respective worlds & really gave the audience a broad spectrum of influence. KesselsKramer showed everyone how being 'wrong' could sometimes work so 'right' in the world of advertsing, and Kaj Drobin gave some first hand advice on creating a 'start up' company. Carl & Nils from Mill+ had a beautiful array of work, and really delved into their process heavy roots. Rounding off day one, Don Shelford from Wieden+Kennedy gave a hilarious presentation of the agency's work from Nike, Levis & Old Spice.
Brushing off the last nights party (with free heineken beer) attendees were treated to the incredible detailed and considered design work from Ben Parker at Made Thought. Ije Nwokorie, MD of Wolff Olins then shared his vision of incouraging creativity & leadership in his organisation to really create the most memorable and thought provoking work. Tiffany Bozic took us on a journey to where here personal inspiration begins in nature, and how it translates into her mesmorising paintings.
Local hero Jesper Kouthoofd from Teenage Engineering didn't dissapoint, delivering a 'Mad Scientist' like talk, exposing his genius inventions. Despite her kind demeanour & beautiful work, Kelli Anderson revellead a uniquely subversive depth to her work that was overlly impressive, and to finish the event Christian Alzmann from ILM drew back the curtain on the special effects of the biggest movies at the box office.
